You can almost see the Love for Learning on their faces! Yes, it was back to school this morning in my household. It brings some normalcy to the otherwise hectic work week. But before we get fully entrenched in Fall-mode, let’s enjoy this last, beautiful weekend of summer! I am already plotting and planning what I want to drink on Sunday; All the things I said I would try over the summer but never got around to buying. I am especially looking forward to the 40 Ounce Muscadet and the Half Seas Bramble Tequila & Grapefruit cocktail in a can.

I am very curious to see how wines in a can do this summer. They are light and convenient but consumers have been pretty skeptical so far. Do you drink it right from the can or pour it into a glass? Will it taste tinny?
If you don’t want to go out on limb and purchase one for yourself, we’ll be sampling them throughout the beach season so keep reading your “After the Vine” to find out he dates once get into the heart of summer!

Once again, thank you for your patience, during our parking lot renovations, this past week. For those of you who ventured in, it was a challenge at times, to figure out how to get to the front door. In the end, we have a fresh black sealcoat with brightly painted white lines. Hopefully it will make the lot safe and clean for years to come.
Charles Smith Wines
In 2006, Charles Smith created Charles Smith Wines: The Modernist Project, which centers around the trend that most people generally consume wine without delay. The intent is to create wines to be enjoyed now, but with typicity of variety (Merlot that tastes like Merlot) and true to the place of origin. The wines are full of flavor, balanced, and approachable.
